Price Break Charts.
The main purpose to use price break charts lies in its ability to detect a change in trend .
Price break charts look like candlesticks without the wicks. They are bricks or columns. A good way to view them is as steps up or steps down in the direction that the sentiment is taking. They are colored black for a down move and white for an upward move.
The key condition that determines the generation of a black brick is whether a new low has been created. If a new low has been created, a new black column is added or “painted” onto the chart. If a new high has been reached, then a new white column appears.
If no new low or high has been achieved, nothing is added. One of the most beneficial aspects of price break charts is the clarity of their rules. Because they operate on close prices, there is no room for dispute.
Understanding price break charts provides traders with a powerful capability to be more precise about trend identification.
As a result, their ability to diagnose market sentiment can be greater than ever before. For a trader to setup a high-probable trade, the trader needs, at a minimum, to have a confluence of all the three factors below:
1. There is a clear trend direction.
2. The momentum has turned in the direction that the trader anticipates.
3. The price is at a key resistance or support line (confluence with an important Fibonacci ratio or key level )
Using price break charts, the trader cannot dispute the facts of the trend direction.
Either the price has succeeded in persisting higher or lower, or it has not. In addition, the trader knows in advance where a price break chart would be considered strong enough to break the trend.
With a clear trend direction and the ability to identify resistance and support levels, price break chart provides trader the best opportunity to follow trends, and also be predictive in nature to look out for chart patterns as and when they form.
Renko charting is a tool that represents price movements by using bricks. Renko is the Japanese word for brick. If a price has moved higher and closed by a prescribed amount, we add a new brick.
We can select the color; it is usually green, white, or gray. If the price has moved lower by a prescribed amount, a new block, whose color is usually either black or red, appears in the opposite direction.
Renko charts are " time independent "charts that do not have constantly spaced time axes. Here is an example of a Renko chart:
Renko chart-based trading is a pure reaction strategy for profit protection. This strategy follows a simple dictum: Never let a profit turn into a loss . It is used to exit a trade after it becomes profitable.

Kagi Charts: The Keys to the Turn of Sentiment.
Kagi charts are price charts with thick and thin vertical lines connected by short horizontal lines. Kagi charts reveal who is in control and whether there has been a change in the balance of power between buyers and sellers.
The length of the Yin or Yang line indicates where the balance or imbalance of sentiment lies. The Kagi chart lines become a continuous sentiment map, and the trader looks for key areas where things may turn.
Similar to P&F charts, Kagi charts only add a new vertical line when prices have reversed enough to cancel the current uptrend or downtrend. Until such a reversal occurs, a Kagi chart will only move up (or down) in its current column.
It differs from traditional charts, such as the Candlestick chart by being mostly independent of time. This feature aids in producing a chart that reduces random noise. like every charts introduced by Forex Chartistry. Here is an example of a Kagi chart:

A major reason to use Kagi for entering a trade is that Kagi pinpoints when the sentiment has turned.

Yin and Yang: These are the Kagi chart lines. They alternate between being thin and thick. Yin is the name associated with the sentiment being bearish and favoring selling. When Yang lines emerge, buying sentiment has taken over. Yang lines are thicker than Yin lines.
In some charts the differences between the lines are visualized as colors: the Yang lines are gray or green and the Yin lines are red or black.
Shoulders . When the line changes from thin to thick, a Kagi shoulder is formed, generating a down reversal.
Kagi waistlines . Waistlines are the opposite of shoulders, and occur when the line changes from thick to thin, generating an up reversal.
Turning—the main Kagi chart event . The key to understanding Kagi charts is the relationship between Yin and Yang. The beneп¬Ѓt of Kagi charts is that they show the nature of the existing balance of sentiment more clearly for some traders. The key Kagi chart visual that becomes a signal is the change from Yin to Yang or Yang to Yin.
The simplest way to interpret Kagi charts can be summed up by Steve Nison's expression Buy on yang, sell on yin . When the Kagi line goes from thin to thick, prices have just exceeded their previous important high - that's a bullish signal. The opposite is also true. When the Kagi line goes from thick to thin, prices have just fallen below their previous low, not a good sign for things to come.
Point and figures.

Each price box represents a specific value that price must reach to warrant an X or an O. Time is not a factor in P&F charting. Filter insignificant price movements and noise Focus on important price movements Remove the time aspect from the analysis process Make support/resistance levels much easier to identify Provide automatic and subjective trendlines.
How Point and Figure Charts Work.
Point and п¬Ѓgure charts work in the following way: When a price exceeds and closes at a predetermined distance up, it gets an green block posted.
If it reverses by three times the value of a prescribed number, it gets an red column. If a price exceeds a predetermined distance down, it gets an additional red block posted, and if it reverses by three times the value of a prescribed number, it gets a green column.
In point and п¬Ѓgure charting this is known as a 1 x three-box reversal. The common practice in point and п¬Ѓgure charting is to use high/low as the setting instead of a close of the prices.
